I'm actually reading 'Desperation' book in english ('cause I've already read it in french long time ago)
If you liked this story, also read 'The Regulators' by Richard Bachman (Stephen King)

Do you have some news about the movie with Shane ?
I forgot when it'll air on ABC .... I think on may.

Desperation will air May 18th on ABC at 8pm.

Edit: I guess I ought to wait until everyone has had a chance to see it before saying much else about this particular film, no? Smile

I'm really glad that I got to see it, and it was such a pleasure to see Shane in such a big role, with some scenes that I know his fans here will find very charming to say the least Smile

What little review I saw of this in advance seemed mixed, and I think it'll stay that way, not because it wasn't an excellent show, but because when you have a "message" kind of story, and include religious topics some people are just going to turn off to it rather than be intrigued and invite dialogue of real substance.

I have liked every film production of a King story yet, even though there were some corny bits in some of them. I just like the tone of them, and the fringe subjects that he delves into that are in themselves a far better premise for fiction than most of the drivel that I see in films and television.
