fan listing

hey everyone. I want to add a fanlisting to my site, but I am terrible at coding forms. I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to code a form for me? let me know. thanks!

You could use a PHP fanlisting script! I use enthusiast! It's great! But that's for a collective, if you're just wanting one I suggest phpfanbase. But they've taken the script down, I used that ages ago, I might still have it on my computer. On freesites4kids.com I assume you can have php pages, would they give you a mysql database?

If you wanna do that, I could help set it up for you! Or if you just wanna use a plain old HTML form I could maybe help there too, I don't really use them though, but I wouldn't mind looking it up for you. But right now I have to go, I'm going to see Cheaper by the Dozen 2!!!

Oh! I just looked on my computer! I do still have phpfanbase! It's really simple to use!

uuuh i don't know :/ i used to use some forms on my last fanlistings but i can't remember the codes and i lost all of my html files :/
now i use the form from my host freefr so i don't know, it's only for free.fr users, i tried somethign in php one day but it didn't work i'm too ba dat it

hey sarah, i downloaded the phpfanbase thing. and i changed the stuff in the config file. i uploaded everything to the sever but i am having trouble configuring the databases and such properly.

Do you have a MySQL database from your host? If you do, they should give you the username, database name and password and then you just fill that in and follow the instructions on the readme file, I can't remember what file it is create.php maybe, to create the tables.

If that's not the problem, or there's something else, let me know.

ok, so I used some HTML to build the form for people to fill in, but does anyone know how to code it so when people click send it goes right to my email without opening up their email?
