Okay, I'm not sure how many of you are in school, and what not, but this is just incase.. How's everyone doing in school? What grade are you in? I'm in 9th, or you could call me a "freshman in high school". I like most of my classes, but Band is kind of hard, and I dislike my science teacher.

Victoria, your school years start in February? So are you on like a summer vacation right now? Cause here in the US, school years start around the end of august/beginning of september (depending were you live).

and for us school yars start at the beginning of september, like the 3rd...
and summer holidays...well it depends of which grade you are in, for me this year it's going to be at the end of may Laughing

well, france is the worst country for school, i don't say that because i live there but that's true, that's what our teachers say and when i went in usa (for exemple) it really wasn't like we do here

i mean, i'm in high school so i work much than in secondary but that's almost the same, like today, i finish school at 6pm!! when i get out from it it's already night, and i've got tons of work, like for tomorrow uuuh 15 chemistry exercises, 6 in maths, and i think i'll have some in spanish too, so it takes time to come back home so i'm here at like uuh 6:20pm, and we eat at 8pm, and then at 10pm we go spleeping, i don't have any time to do something else than working for school

school sucks in france!! lol, and i had one friend, who used to live in france and he went leaving in usa and said that everything was really easier than in france, that's what our teacher says to :/

Humm !About school, I don't know the word in english but in France we call that "Math spé" , it's 2 years after college but the lessons are always teached in college ,not in the university : French system.

Flora what time do you guys start school at since you go until so late? 6, wow that's crazy. when i was in high school we went from 7:25 AM until 2 PM. Not to bad.

i srat at 8am, and always finish at 5pm, except on some days at 6pm

mine starts at 7:00 and finishes at 12:50.
but i have english classes on fridays..it starts at 2:00 and finishes at 5:40.

12:50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! our first part of the day at school is 7 to 12am! we have lunch and then it's 1pm to 5 or 6pm! that's not fair affraid

I tried university twice. The first try was ok until I got in special program. The second try...no comment.
I would like to try university again, but maybe not in France. I am thinking Belgium.

i loved usa's system when I was there, i spent a week at my correspondant school, it was great, i mean the student were kind alike us, saying they didn't like school, but it was like heaven compared to french school lol

Oh man the schools days in france are very long Shocked

. In germany we have school from 8.00 a.m up to 1.15. It isn'tvery long and we don't get much homework. My heart goes out to you people from france it's very long.... you have no free-time....
